Northpointe Christian Basketball Makes State Tournament Run

Class C Northpointe Christian basketball finished off a tough regular season schedule and hit the post-season in full force. Being unranked, they were taking it one game at a time but made sure to leave it all out on the court.

Playing at the Breslin Center in East Lansing is a rare and great opportunity. They faced a strong Flint Beecher team in the finals and walked away the Class C State Runner-Up.

PSTS Coach Brian Palmer was on the sidelines all year with this team as an assistant coach. His unique coaching style and ability to communicate with players always helps them maximize their potential. Northpointe Coach Jared Redell of Redell Elite Training has hosted PowerStrength at his summer skills clinics in the past and it was great to watch his program and entire school make the tournament run.

There was a grand total of 8 PSTS athletes on the NPC team this season and we’re proud of all the effort they put in! Adding size and strength is a tough sell to basketball players at times because they simply want to play basketball most of the time. These guys trusted the process and put in months of work – resulting in more muscle, inches on their verticals, and the mindset to maximize their potential and seize opportunities.
