“Before PowerStrength, I was mentally and physically defeated. I struggled with chronic lower back pain due to 4 c-sections, a sedative career and exhaustion from poor diet and lack of exercise. I would walk 3-4 times per week, but nothing to challenge my body with professional training due to fear of “not being strong enough”.
PowerStrength is empowering! I have always been strong, but not like I am now. I have developed mental and physical confidence, endurance, body awareness and push myself in ways I thought I could NEVER achieve. I look forward to seeing my new found friends at the gym and know that I will be encouraged to push myself to be the best version of myself for that workout.
I have developed healthy lifestyle habits. I can not NOT go to the gym. I walk stairs and am not winded, I can sustain physical activity with more ease and comfort. I am mindful of how I fuel my body from hydration to foods. I am learning about my body and how to activate and target muscles that will strengthen and assist with aging, sitting all day as well as strengthening and flexibility. I have more energy and stamina to be the best version of myself!” – Kelly G.
“Before PowerStrength I was working out sporadically. I was doing some cardio, minimal weight training, and occasional yoga, but nothing consistent. I was in pain quite frequently with plantar fasciitis, hip pain, and back pain from sitting at an office desk and through meetings. I wasn’t getting the physical activity in my life the I needed. I came to PowerStrength looking for someone to motivate me, and hold me accountable.
My experience at PowerStrength has been so positive! I feel very encouraged, pushed harder than I would push myself, but never past my limits. I feel very encouraged by the coaches, by the other adult clients, and they have become my friends. It’s been such a positive, great experience. I don’t want to miss because the coaches know that I’m not here, and ask where I was. I feel like they know me, and expect me to be here, and are happy to see me when I arrive! Their encouragement makes me want to come even on days when it might be hard to make myself go train.
The impact of PowerStrength has shown up in many different ways in my life. I am pain free, with the exception of that ‘good sore’ from pushing myself in the gym. My plantar fasciitis and back pain has virtually disappeared. I’m now strong mentally and physically. I can take on the world because I have been challenged, and I know now that I can rise to the occasion. PowerStrength has given me a lot of mental toughness and physical strength.”
– Beth M.
“Before I started at PowerStrength I was training by myself and making just ‘ok’ progress. Now I’m on a more consistent training program that keeps me coming back. That’s due to the coaches, since they all care and keep me accountable.
My experience so far has been great! The other members in the adult program, coupled with great coaches is just outstanding.
PowerStrength has definitely helped improve with my overall health. I’ve had such a positive experience that now I tell others about PowerStrength, and try to get them to join. I want them to experience what I’ve experienced!” – Michael C.
My experience at PSTS has been a blast so far! I’ve push myself physically, and it only motivates me to go up in some of my lifts. Now I don’t necessary look at the scale as much. I’m more focused on how I feel, and get to track my progress at PowerStrength with their InBody.
I’m not nearly as tired when I go into work, I sleep better, and I’m more aware of what I eat. PSTS has guided me to make smarter decisions.” – Matt F.
“Thank you for all the encouragement you and your team have provided during my family’s time with PSTS. It’s been an amazing experience and I’m so glad my son encouraged me to start. Carson has been doing Little Beast and Speed and Agility training since March of this year. He absolutely loves the physical challenge the coaches puts into each program while making it fun at the same time. Seeing his excitement every week, I decided to start thinking about my own health and well-being (which has been idle for quite some time). It didn’t take long for me to realize that I should be doing something better for myself and so… my journey at PSTS began.
The training and development is going great thus far. My evening classes take place the same time as my son’s training and so our time at the gym is something we share together. Carson keeps a pretty good eye on me through my sessions and he’ll come up to me during one of his water breaks with a high-five after I’ve finished a series of sled pulls or even a “You can do it Mom,” when I’m working through some upper body strength training. He is truly my inspiration and motivator through this process! The PSTS team is extremely encouraging and supportive as well. It didn’t take me long to realize that they not only strengthen us physically, but also mentally. As the trainings continue to get harder, somedays I find myself in a state of “mind over matter” just to get through the exercises. The PSTS teams’ constant encouragement and ability to keep me focused on what I’m doing is so essential to me.
In a nutshell, I’m loving my experience with PSTS! Thank you again to you and your team for all you’ve done and continue to do to educate, train, and bring a level of wellness to people in our communities. – Stacy B.
“My experience at PowerStrength has been extremely positive. I’m the type of person who wants to do something right, so I like someone watching and coaching my technique. That way I know I’m getting the most out of my exercises. I might not be the fastest, but that doesn’t matter because all the coaches make sure I’m doing it correctly, and to me that’s important.
PowerStrength has made a positive impact in my life. I enjoy coming here, I look forward to coming here, and sometimes find myself upset when something pops up and I can’t make it. It’s just been awesome. I love it!” – Ann K.
When My Wife, Ann, and I started at PSTS I was the heaviest I have ever been. I was concerned I would not be able to do this type of training, not only because of how out of shape I was, but I also have rheumatoid arthritis.
By the end of the two week trial, I really liked the way I felt!
Now, Ann and I have just finished our third full month and we love what PSTS has done for us. I AM ABLE TO DO THINGS I WAS NOT ABLE TO DO WHEN I FIRST STARTED.”
– Rick K.
“My name is Teresa Dewey, and I just completed the 2-Week Jumpstart program at PSTS. This program is awesome, as I have been challenged in my workouts and have DROPPED 3% OF MY BODY FAT while INCREASING MY MUSCLE MASS. The coaches are great and I would highly recommend PSTS. They have given me a new outlook on training, I have now seen what I’m capable of. Thank you PowerStrength!” – Teresa D.
“Before joining PowerStrength I used to go to the ‘24 hour gyms’, but I never saw the results I wanted. I joined the PowerStrength Men’s Transformation Challenge in January and started seeing immediate results due to the coaching, varied workouts, and nutritional guidance. The support, accountability, energy, and competitive spirit of the staff make the workouts challenging, yet enjoyable.”
– Ben B. (Transformation Challenge Winner)
“What I love the most is the intensity and variety of the sessions – I would never have been able to do all this on my own. I feel stronger and can already see a difference in my soccer playing.
The most helpful part of PSTS is having a coach that is conscious of problem areas and helps me works through them. I was initially worried about my knee, but I have had minimal issues with it.
I can’t believe how far I have come in 6 weeks and I’m looking forward to where I will be in 6 more. My favorite part of PSTS is the personalized attention from the coaches, and the fact that you can feel their desire for you to succeed as much as you want yourself to succeed.” -Alyssa R.
“I workout, not because I hate my body, but because I respect it, and I’m proud of what it can do. I feel strong, in and out of the gym. I love the community of empowering people who celebrate my successes and encourage me to surpass even my own expectations. As a mother of three, I have plenty of to-do lists and worries – planning workouts and guilt about fitness has no room in my life. I love that I just pick a scheduled workout, show up, and the rest is planned out for me. For that hour I can sweat out my day, compete against myself, turn off the rest of my life while laughing with friends who have become family. It’s easy as a mother to neglect myself, but that is unsustainable long term.” – Ashley D.
“I am 59 (soon to be 60 in February) and work full time as a business attorney. I travel some and my schedule is erratic. I joined PSTS in August with my wife, and we try to make at least one Thrive Small Group class and 2-3 Blue Collar Large Group classes a week. I am also an avid tennis player and very amateur golfer.
A few weeks ago I visited my general practitioner for follow-up bloodwork review. To his and my pleasant surprise, ALL of my numbers (including blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol) as well as my vitamin and mineral levels, were ALL improved over my May physical.
I attribute this to my wife Lori who keeps me very much in line on the nutrition front, but also to the training I have been doing at PSTS the last two months.
In addition, my tennis game/court movement/stamina is substantially better since starting PSTS. As far as golf – my short game still needs work – but I feel great out on the course. I am very pleased with the PSTS program, staff, team members and results!” – Pat S.
“I have lost a total of 35 pounds over the last 14 months by focusing on my nutrition, training regularly and finally getting my hormones balanced.
Once I started seeing the results, it motivated me to keep going in order to achieve my goals.
Since I travel a lot for work, one of my main challenges has been sticking to my healthy habits when on the road. I make it a priority to stretch and keep moving, and try my best to make healthy nutrition choices when I can. PowerStrength has given me the tools to make what seemed impossible a reality. The team is always encouraging, continuously offering guidance and there to help wherever needed.
The coaches at PSTS hold me accountable (to show up to my training sessions), push me to do things I didn’t think I could do, and create a positive, and supportive environment where everyone can thrive. I couldn’t have done it without them.”
“It was my husband who encouraged me to look at the new place near my work called PowerStrength. When I questioned the time and expense, he responded wholeheartedly that my fitness and health are important to our family.Busy with work and family, I was finding myself doing a lot more WATCHING or DRIVING to/from sporting events, than DOING any workouts. I was busy… busy putting everyone else ahead of myself. Being able to do things like push-ups has taken a steady climb up in fitness. I committed to working out weekly and I feel so much healthier in mind, body, and spirit. Often I approach new things thinking, “I can’t do that”. At PowerStrength, I have done so many things that I never thought I would or could do, I just had to try…. and have the right coaching and encouragement, from home and at the gym. I feel so lucky to have both!” – Sam B.
“I signed up for the women’s challenge in hopes to kickstart a sustainable change in myself. Yes, this body has done amazing things over the last 2 years, but I had lost my self-confidence and found myself at my heaviest. In four short weeks, I’ve not only seen measurable results faster than ever but more importantly, I discovered I was stronger than I could have ever imagined.” – Ashley U.
“PSTS is by far the best gym I have ever been a part of. The camaraderie, the accountably with each other. The drive and support from everyone who wants to see you succeed, the coaching, and the work. Its more than just a gym. It’s like a second family. It’s not any one thing, it’s everything, It’s a lifestyle. It’s Do What Matters. It’s Strong Lives Here. It’s PSTS. And I’m proud to be a part of it.” – Brad H.
“My goal was to lose 24 pounds in 2017. In my mind, I had 12 months to accomplish my goal so I broke my goal down into 2 pounds per month. Now my goal was manageable, but what happen next I could have never imagined. In January, I lost 12 pounds, February came and I lost 9 pounds, and month after month I saw weight coming off and muscle being built. As of today, I am 47 total pounds down from where I started on January 1, 2017. What was amazing to me was that the changes were simple, but the results were profound. With the support and encouragement of my wife who walked with me every step of the way and my Power Strength family I smashed my goal! – Brandon D.
“I started with PSTS with a 4-week trial of the Blue Collar program in the spring of 2017 and I have been hooked ever since. It is the most effective system I have tried. The small class size format sets PSTS apart from the rest of the adult programs in the area and is a huge advantage because of the 1-on-1 attention you receive from the coaches. The format allows them to tailor their guidance to your specific training needs which enables them to push you to achieve the next level, suggest alternate exercises if you are working through an injury, and provide nutritional guidance to support your specific training goals. They are personally invested in your success, they celebrate these successes and because of this PSTS continues to build a great community. I have lost 20 lbs., but I more importantly I have gained endurance, strength, confidence and improved health.” -Michelle L.
“I came to PSTS looking for a kick start towards living a healthier life and in just one month I got that and a whole lot more. For the first time in my life I had someone coaching me through the process with nutritional advice, varied workouts, and goal setting. The environment at PS can only be described as welcoming which leads to the family like structure that exists. I am proud of what I have accomplished in this month and look forward to what the months ahead may bring.” – Bill K.
“Since joining PSTS, I’ve seen so many changes in myself that I hadn’t expected to see. I am not only losing fat, I am becoming so much stronger than I thought I would be. I have more energy each day and I even sleep better at night. I am also a person that struggles with anxiety, and since joining PSTS I have seen a huge change in myself with less anxiety attacks. The best part about PSTS is the people. Each time I go in for a workout, I am surrounded by positivity. PSTS members and employees are not there to be better than those around them, but to better themselves. Seeing this positivity in each person makes it an easy place to accomplish goals, because I know that I will be surrounded by people to celebrate these goals, and that will encourage continuous healthy behavior.” -Tara K.
“THANK YOU for being amazing coaches and an inspiration to me the last month! I loved all the nutrition advice and ideas gained through the month too! The weekly meetings kept me accountable for what I was actually doing each week and kept me believing that I was indeed making progress! With the final weigh in and measurements, I can say I went home that day ELATED and with what I’m guessing a natural high with the news of the inches (5.5 WOW!!) lost throughout my body. It has been a hard thing to change my mind shift from worrying about the scale. All I know is, I feel great! I feel empowered! And I believe that with the great support you all provide here I am capable of change and transforming myself! Mission accomplished from my standpoint!” – Sandy G.
“After my first day, I knew there was no other gym for me.”
“My whole life I have been an active person up until becoming a mother in December of 2012. It was then when I starting putting my health and body second. I had tried several chain gyms with no results. It was hard to stay motivated to keep going. My diet consisted of anything quick and easy and I found myself gaining weight. In October of 2016 I was introduced to PowerStrength’s JumpStart Program. It was then I decided I could do anything for a few weeks, so I signed up. For three weeks I found myself surrounded by the most helpful trainers and the workout groups were beyond supportive. I loved showing up to a sessions and being guided on what to do each day and instructed how to do it correctly. After completing the JumpStart Program I managed to lose 15 lbs and gained so much more knowledge of a balanced diet and workout plan! A balance I had been missing! After my first day I knew there was no other gym for me. I signed up that day and I haven’t looked back. Less than a year into my commitment I am down 30lbs. Beyond the weight lose I feel more energized and confident. The friendships and the atmosphere at PS is something I will never walk away from.”- Raelyn L.
I started at PowerStrength nearly 2 years ago on a trial package. As a older mom who has 2 girls who worked out at PowerStrength during their college soccer careers, I had it in my head that there was no way I could do this. Boy was I wrong!!!! From day one there was no way I was going to fail between the other people in the class and their constant motivation, or the trainers with their always positive attitudes and constant help with technique and reminders of how to keep going strong. All I can say is it is hard work but the feeling you get when you finish a constant changing workout is amazing! I can honestly say this is one of my HAPPY places! The trainers are AMAZING, the other athletes are just as AMAZING and we all have a really good time Getting it done! My body composition has improved, but more importantly I can tell you I feel 100 times better than I did when I started! I feel I stand up taller and more confident than I ever did before. Give it a try!!! PSTS ROCKS!!!! – Michelle V.
“I am a 58 year old woman who has been a member of the Power Strength family for about 8 months. Initially, I was apprehensive, intimidated and wondered if I would be able to keep up. My concerns were quickly put to rest! From my first visit I felt very welcomed and within a short time felt like I was part of a team, one of “the group”.
Both the members and trainers couldn’t be more encouraging, motivating and knowledgeable. The trainers are always available to answer questions regarding correct form and nutrition or offer suggestions to work around any physical discomfort or injury. Regardless of your age, strength or fitness level everyone feels like they belong here and is treated equally and each goal and accomplishment is recognized and celebrated!
Thank you Power Strength for your daily motivation and “words of wisdom”. Now I really look forward to my workouts and my time with new friends.” -Karen O.
“I am a mother, wife and full-time teacher, and I decided to make a change in my everyday routine. It seemed like I always felt tired. I was tired of the lifestyle habits that I had developed over the years and wanted a change. I decided to start my JumpStart, and haven’t looked back. After 4 weeks of training twice a week and developing better eating habits, I’ve lost 6 pounds of fat and gained 2 pounds of muscle! My clothes fit better, and I can tell I have more energy throughout my day! Now, I am months into my time here at PowerStrength and I love every minute of it. I am accepted, encouraged and challenged every time I walk in the doors.” –Helen V.
I love going to PowerStrength because of the family feel it has! We are like a team. We encourage each other and enjoy each other’s company while spending just one hour together during our workouts (and even that’s not enough, we like to meet outside of our workouts for team dinners). We have the best personal trainers who love to cheer us on and provide awesome nutrition tips. They do an incredible job optimizing our workouts. Anyone looking to find a home gym to encourage a fit and healthy lifestyle, I would recommend PowerStrength! – Lauren D.
“A few months ago I was at a point in my life where I wasn’t feeling good. Not enough physical energy to do anything after work and mentally drained as well. I almost believe that I had to have had some type of illness! Then one day I got the info about the PSTS Blue Collar program and with the encouragement from my wife, decided to give it a try. The first day was brutally tough. But just 6 weeks later I was down from 216 pounds to 200 pounds and simply feeling amazing. All I needed was what PSTS has provided me.
They provided me with a training program that fit my body and my age. I had back surgery a few years ago and was a little nervous about how it would hold up. The coaches at PSTS had me progress safely, and my back feels great and I have no limitations! They also provided me with nutritional guidelines to go along with my program which had just as big of benefits as the training! Physically I feel amazing – mentally I feel amazing. I feel the best I’ve felt in a long time. I tell everyone what I went through and they’re intrigued. PSTS is great for anyone of any age.” – Jim R.
I started training at Power Strength shortly after my 30th birthday with the adult group. I am not very athletic and have no coordination so I was a bit apprehensive. My worries were erased instantly. The trainers are top notch. They are able to assist any skill level and do a great job at keeping things positive and motivating. It’s been almost 2 years now and I can say that I have seen a huge improvement with my strength and posture (my 2 main goals). I would recommend this place to any skill level. It’s a great workout and odds are you will make a few friends along the way…I know I have 🙂 – Carly B.
I started at PSTS the week of my golden birthday. Before that I was feeling like I was on the wrong side of 25 and that my metabolism was decreasing quickly, I knew I wanted to get myself more active. I am a coach’s daughter and have gone through multiple different time periods of heavy training… So I “know” how to do it. However and all of a sudden, I found myself struggling to maintain and really just feel good let alone strong. I joined a “traditional” gym. BORING. Plus there was no one keeping me accountable. I came to my first day at PSTS and fell in love… At first with the unique training program and the trainer/trainee interaction and soon thereafter, the people- the PSTS family 🙂 I won’t leave this group. I am just as committed to them as I know they are to me. And that’s special. – Nicole S.
PSTS has been a GODSEND for our family. We have watched our son transform into a more athletic, strong and confident young man who is now fulfilling his dream of playing Lacrosse at the next level. My husband and I are very appreciative to Mark and team for putting together an adult program as well. As a couple of the oldest adults who train at PSTS, we are always made to feel like a part of the family. We are pushed in order to reach our goals and to give everything we have through each and every workout. Absolutely blessed to be a part of this amazing place with some of the greatest coaches / athletes. Love it! – Kandi F.
I’ve training at PowerStrength for the past 5 years. First as a member of the college football group, and now as a member of the blue collar group. I cannot say enough about the staff, they truly care about every member and will go above and beyond to support your needs. They keep you motivated everyday and help you accomplish all of your health and fitness goals. They do an awesome job of welcoming new members into their groups, making it more of a family atmosphere than any other gym in the area. They dedicate hours researching new workouts to keep things fresh and personalized for each group. Whatever age you are, you will have an awesome experience, and will meet some amazing people along the way. I highly recommend anyone looking to change their lifestyle to check this place out. You will not regret it! – Dan P.
Been to many a gym, some good some not so much. PSTS offers a culture and knowledge base to training that is unmatched in my opinion. If you take your training, or your new training goals seriously and want a true team culture that will educate and train you- PSTS is the rock solid choice. – Dean R.
After my first 60 days with PowerStrength I have noticed incredible results! I’d recommend this to any athlete (current or former) or regular joe. It’s not for the faint of heart but it is for anyone who wants to get the best workout in Grand Rapids! As a side bonus I got to work out with some friends and meet new people as well. Their trainers are experts and as you can see all over their walls they have “fruit on the tree” with training ALL types of athletes and helping them advance to the next level, up their game or just want more Power & Strength in their life! – Mike Z.
I started working out at PowerStrength in November and wouldn’t trade my time there for time at any other gym. The results speak for themselves, and the trainers do a great job giving personal attention to each and every person. The atmosphere is also a huge plus, as everyone is willing to tell you good job, and offer encouragements during workouts. – Jonathan K.
I was an athlete in college and after graduating pretty much stopped all forms of exercise. I started running a few years back but wanted to get back in to lifting. It had been so long since I had used weights and the thought of going to a gym terrified me. I wanted a gym that offered instruction on proper form. That’s what I got at PowerStrength. The trainers do a great job at correcting your form if you’re not doing something right. The amount of attention they give to each person gives the feel of having a personal trainer. The group structure keeps it fun and all the ladies are super encouraging! – Dani K.
“Getting results is always the assumed outcome, but it’s the worth you find in yourself that stands out. You get guys around you, who come from different backgrounds and push you to be better, not only physically, but also in every aspect of your life. You can’t find that at any facility, it takes a special group, a unique attitude to really get you hungry to work your ass off every time you walk in. That’s the difference that you can’t measure.
The wealth of knowledge these guys have is so ahead of the curve you know you are a part of something very special. The atmosphere of the gym is unlike anything you’ve been a part of. You become a family, and that family pushes you beyond what you think is possible.
Having the more personal experience in a gym is so hard to beat. You come in and everyone is on your team. Everyone wants to see you succeed and do well, not because they make money doing it, but they care. That’s the difference these guys put everything into making sure you are at your best. That motivation drives you to reach goals you didn’t think were within reach.
You don’t have to be a high level athlete to get results from a facility like this. It’s about being better than when you walked in. Not everyone is striving to be an NFL player, but we all have a common goal of being at our optimal health and performance. This place is truly special; it’s an atmosphere you can’t get anywhere else.” – Lucas B.
“My first impression of PSTS was that it was intimidating. I didn’t know what to expect. I was just looking to gain some muscle and continue to lose fat. Over a year later and PSTS has helped solidify my transformation and has me doing things I’ve never done before. Overall I’m down from 385lbs to 240!
What separates PSTS is the whole mentality. Not to have a weak attitude, not making excuses. Everyone here is real close and they help you achieve your goals. It’s a great family atmosphere to get better. Everything done at PSTS is spot on!
I would recommend PSTS to anyone out there. It doesn’t matter what age you are, 19 or 50. You just need to come here with the right attitude and work hard.” – Dylan D.
“I came to PSTS for a switch up in my workout routine. The switch was great. The atmosphere is great, the trainers and people are great, the workout routine is new, fun, and gets great results.
You go to other gyms and you do a little of this and that by yourself with no real goal in mind. You come to PSTS and your working with a team of educated trainers and other serious individuals with the same goal in mind. Everyone in here is working for something. I walked out of PSTS with much more strength and endurance. I can see a lot of results. I would recommend PSTS to anyone.
I was a high school, collegiate, and semi-pro athlete. If I found out about PSTS when I was that age, I would have been here all of the time. The stuff they work on- explosiveness, agility… they not only help you to get stronger, but also increase your overall athleticism to become a better athlete. It would be extremely beneficial to any young athlete looking to get better at their craft.
I know a lot of guys my age benefited from working out here. As we get older, workouts get easier and we get softer. When you come to PSTS, they control the tempo and push you hard. All the guys here have big goals and want to get back in shape. It just helps to push you that much harder to achieve your goals.” – Brandon V.
“I was a little intimidated to start PSTS because of all the large athletes training there, but once I got accustomed to things, I was starting to feel better about myself. PSTS is more close knit than other facilities, it is a one-on-one type training setting but still within the group, and you really get to know all of the trainers and other members well. I can’t believe more people my age aren’t training here. I would recommend it to anyone; it makes you feel that much better. It has changed me for sure.” – Dustin H.
“I’ve worked out at almost every gym out there: Lifetime, LA fitness, 24/7, Snap Fitness, boutique gyms, etc. Nothing compares to PSTS. As a former high school (and 1 year of college) athlete, I still strive to stay healthy. You can stay healthy at the other gyms, but what separates PSTS from the others is you will not only stay healthy and get your body feeling the best it has in years, you will make GAINS. You will get stronger, gain muscle, and shed body fat.
When you no longer have a sport to train for, this can be very challenging. Not at PSTS. From the moment you step foot in there, you notice a difference. The atmosphere provides motivation. An intense, blue-collar feel. An opportunity to forget whatever was going on in the day- and just bust ass with some like-minded people, make progress, and not waste your time in the gym.
A gym with a good atmosphere and the right equipment is only as good as those working it. Hands down PSTS has the best coaches/trainers I’ve ever trained with. Mark Ehnis and his staff will push you. These guys are highly trained, extremely knowledgeable, and will ensure you focus on form before weight. If you’re not pushing yourself, they will notice and they will push you. Their goal is the same for everyone, regardless of age or reason for training: they want you to make gains. They want you to improve. They want you to be physically and mentally strong.
I now live in Arizona but make a point to workout at PSTS every time I’m home. I only wish Mark would open up a PSTS in Scottsdale and train a staff as competent as his current coaches, because my gyms out here do not compare!” – Joe C.
“Last fall I trained there with the Blue Collar Crew 3 nights per week and I could not believe the results. I got in the best shape I have been in since my days of college basketball. The training was challenging for not only young athletic guys like me, but also easily adjustable for the guys who were older and more limited. I loved the coaching of Mark and the team to never take shortcuts- and the motivation they provide to get me through the tough workouts.
The environment created in this place is also fantastic. It’s a great combination of athletic/health improvement and locker room friendship. Even when I have zero motivation to work out, once I get to the gym I am immediately motivated by everyone working hard to better themselves that I cannot help but get excited to “get after it.” It’s a place where I see young athletes excited to train and excited to keep coming back.
I am also impressed with Mark and the PSTS coaches on their knowledge of training and nutrition overall. I know they have spent countless hours researching and sifting through all the garbage out there in the fitness world to give good advice to anyone who needs some guidance. They’re professionals for a reason.
In a time where “Fad” workouts and trademarked training styles are taking over the fitness world, these guys have found the best way to get results with anyone at any level. Just take a look at the achievements of the large numbers of athletes and clients coming out of this gym, and it should be convincing enough. I will continue to recommend and train at PSTS for all these reasons. Thanks.”

“I trained incorrectly for years. Learning proper training techniques alongside some peers to keep me honest and accountable- I’ve made the most progress of my life. PSTS is constantly on their game. They have created a great family atmosphere and done so with integrity.”
– Matt R.
“My first impression of PowerStrength was that it was going to be really intense. I didn’t think it would be a place for a girl to workout but I was wrong! I got to know some great girls who trained with me and we loved to work hard. PowerStrength is set apart by the knowledge the coaches bring to each session and the environment that you’re in. AT PSTS you’re surrounded by people who want to get results just like you and that’s pretty motivating.” – Becky C.
“When I first started PowerStrength I was a little nervous as I let myself get a little out of shape. Once I got serious about my diet, corrected my form, and listened to what my coaches were telling me I saw results within 2-weeks! The difference between PSTS and other training facilities for me was all based around my form and eating habits- I never knew how to train properly and I’ve been working out for years. PSTS is great for anyone who loves to get a great workout, break a sweat, and blow off some steam after a long workday.” – Leah S.
“6 weeks ago I had a goal in mind; to be the strongest I’ve ever been by my 28th birthday. In high school I was pretty fit. I was 175lbs and could max bench 235. I could max squat 285lbs. I could deadlift about the same as my squat from what I remember…10 years was a long time ago:) Anyways, I weighed in last night at 199lbs (+14lbs in three months). I benched 245×2 and needed a ‘tap’ to get me past 90 degrees at 255 after a couple prior sets. I squatted 335. Last week I deadlifted 315×5. I reached my goal of being the strongest I’ve ever been.
I’m proud of myself but I’m more proud of the guys that helped push me every week to get me to this point…a point I honestly didn’t think I was capable of so quickly. Keep in mind 6 weeks ago I could barely push up 225 on my bench and squatting 335 would not have ended well at all. The PSTS coach’s ability to push an individual the right way is incredible. PowerStrength has been proven time and time again…I am just another prime example. If you want to be a Lion, you must train like a Lion. Thank you gentlemen for the work you’ve put in to not only myself, but every person who walks through those doors with goals in mind. No doubt they will reach them under your supervision.” – Nick H.
